How long has Cliff been a licensed PH?
Since 1996.
   
Is laundry done everyday?
Laundry is done daily.
   
What types of food?
A Questionnaire Form is sent out before your arrival on all your food and beverage requirements. Whilst all steps are taken, to provide you with your beverage requirements, local beer and local sprits are provided and a limited selection of imported liquors.
   
Do we hunt all day?
Some safaris we hunt all day, more laid back safaris we will return to camp for lunch. This all depends on the type of client, the necessary measurements are taken to cater for each and every individual client.
   
Accommodation?
The majority of camps that Cliff conducts Safaris out of Africa wide, are the luxurious East African tents, with flushed toilets, hot and cold running water and fans.
   
Electricity?
There are generators in all of our camps, of which the charging of cameras, dvd players, ipods, etc are possible throughout the day and evenings. The power source is 220V.
   
Is the area private?
Yes, Cliff's primary area, Rifa (Zimbabwe) is completely private with no other hunting parties within the area. Other areas, in other countries we sub-lease therefore it is possible to share a camp with another hunting party. Exclusivity in a safari camp is upon request.
   
Do I need malaria pills, yellow fever, cholera?
Yes, it is necessary to consult your doctor for all vaccinations needed in each and every country.
   
Visas for Africa?
All African Countries require a visa. It is possible to obtain a Visa in MOST countries, please check with your Embassy beforehand, we strongly advise to obtain a Visa beforehand.
   
How many guns and ammo can I bring?
Every Country has different laws on the amount of firearms and ammunition. It is advisable to consult with Cliff on this matter beforehand.
   
What animals do I need cites tags?
C.I.T.E.S. (Convention of International Trade of Endangered Species) In most African Countries, some animals do require a cites tag for example in Zimbabwe it is necessary to obtain a cites tag before the start of your safari for a leopard. Cliff will advise you on what animals are needed for cites tags.
   
Can I bring wife and kids?
Cliff has conducted several safaris with the whole family. The youngest client, age 11, the oldest 80.
   
What type of hunting vehicles are used?
Toyota Land cruiser, fully equipped safari vehicle. In some countries, boats are also used to hunt out of as well as fishing.
   
Who will meet me at the airport?
In every Country, either your Professional Hunter or Charter Pilot or a meet and Greet Person will be there on your arrival.

How much clothing?
In all African Countries, it is illegal to wear camouflage clothing. Dark greens and khakis are advised. Each individual to his own, but we recommend, 1 x broad brim hat, 1 x cap, 1 x pair of gloves, 3 x pants, 3 x shirts, 1 x pair of hunting boots, 1 x pair casual shoes, 1 x jacket, 1 x pair gator's. This is a very basic guide line.
   
Toiletries?
Sunscreen +50, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorants, body lotions, insect repellant, shampoo, conditioner all your daily toiletries. Soap and toilet paper is provided.
   
Should I purchase travel Insurance?

Yes it is highly recommendable to obtain travel insurance and very important and not to put any expensive equipment in your checked luggage. To plastic wrap your bags is highly recommendable as the theft in most African countries is high.
